But it quickly becomes clear that this picture is staged. It shows a summer landscape with green grass and shimmering birch leaves. In the middle lies a naked woman with a child. She is breastfeeding, a mother &#8211; but that seems unusual and disturbing in this scene.<\/p>\n<p>The large picture size (160 x 125 cm) and the staging make it clear that this is not a private moment. A photo like this will not be taken without the people involved in taking it.<\/p>\n<p>It raises questions: How do we imagine mothers? Do these images fit social roles? During this time, she becomes a mother herself. She experiences happiness and love, but also tiredness and loss of control.
