Dodge is an artist who uses everyday objects to tell stories. His woven blankets are a good example of this. These are not only textile works, but also bear traces of the experiences and places where they were created. The craft plays a major role here – the work of the weavers is just as much a part of the artwork as the finished object.<\/p>\n
Dodge sees his works as a bridge between us viewers and the stories of the people who created them, encouraging us to reflect on the connections in our world.<\/p>\n
We wear such global connections on our bodies every day, for example.
