This is why the lecture introduces the concept of the museum climate? What is the climate in the museum? How does curatorial work with a museum, both with its holdings and collections and with its spatial, environmental and social environments, relate to the climate? How can the museum be a place where cultural imaginaries can be shared by many? How does curating as a critical care practice relate to the heritage of the modern museum and to the future, which can only be understood through planetary interdependencies? Curating as care work is understood through ecologies of curating.
