Would you like to get to know the Kunsthalle and its exhibitions? Looking at pictures, talking about them and being creative yourself? If you are between 5 and 12 years old, you are welcome every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Kunsthalle’s painting room!
Offer for children unaccompanied by adults.

See, marvel and create together! Family time invites children and adults to not only look at art, but to discover it together.
After a short introduction to the exhibition, the whole group goes to the studio for a creative activity. Whether with paints, paper, pencils or other materials – you work as a family or side by side, try things out and create your own works that are just as different and lively as you are. Finally, we invite you to come together again over coffee, juice and something sweet: to watch, talk, listen and let the experience sink in. No previous experience is necessary and there are no age restrictions.

Art and child? That fits well! We invite parents with babies and toddlers to a stress-free tour of the exhibition.

Duration: one hour

You can give free rein to your creativity in the open studio. Without fixed guidelines, but with plenty of room to try things out, create and experiment – at your own pace. Whether with brushes, scissors, chalk or collage material: you decide what you feel like doing.
A museum educational guide is on site to support you if necessary, show you techniques or give you ideas. You don’t need any previous experience, just curiosity and a love of making things. All ages are welcome! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Duration: two hours on a Thursday afternoon per month
Cost: 10 euros (admission to the exhibition is not included)

Try artistic techniques for yourself!

This offer is included in the entrance fee.
Usually every third Sunday of the month from 12 to 4 pm.

Would you like to celebrate this special day of the year in a special place?
We offer a two or two and a half hour program by arrangement for all ages with a visit to the exhibition and creative activities.
Drinks and snacks can be brought along and consumed on the side.
You can choose one of the following techniques:

• Printing with stamp, potato or styrene
• Painting
• Build sculptures
• Modeling with ceramic clay
• Collage

Children’s birthday party costs: 130 euros for two hours, 160 euros for two and a half hours
Up to 10 people, entrance fees and materials included. An additional five euros is charged for each additional child.

Adult birthday party costs: 140 euros for two hours, 170 euros for two and a half hours
Up to 10 people, entrance fees and materials included. There is an additional charge of five euros for each additional person taking part.
