Library
The library of the Kunsthalle Bielefeld is a specialized art library that can be used by anyone interested free of charge and independently of a visit to the museum. The approximately 40,000 exhibition catalogs, encyclopedias, monographs, holdings catalogs of other museums and periodicals can be used on site. Borrowing is not possible. The focus is on literature on the various art genres from Classical Modernism to the present. A photocopier can be used. The library is a member of the Working Group of Art and Museum Libraries (AKMB).

The journals at the shelfmark Z 401 are located in the external warehouse. If you need one of these magazines please register your need with Tania Müller mueller@kunsthalle-bielefeld.de.
