The library of the Kunsthalle Bielefeld is a specialized art library that can be used by anyone interested free of charge and independently of a visit to the museum. The approximately 40,000 exhibition catalogs, encyclopedias, monographs, holdings catalogs of other museums and periodicals can be used on site. The focus is on literature on the various art genres from Classical Modernism to the present. The library is a member of the Working Group of Art and Museum Libraries (AKMB).
