A Conversation with Jan Giebel

In an interview, art historian Jan Giebel discusses his research on the history of the collection and the Kunsthalle Bielefeld institution. He talks about his first impressions, the challenges he faced during his research, and why provenance research is much more than just archival work. The exhibition focuses on paintings, sculptures, and other works of art acquired between 1933 and 1974.
