Would you like to look at pictures, talk about them and be creative yourself? Are you between 5 and 12 years old?
Then you are welcome every Saturday in our painting room! During these two hours, we will get to know the Kunsthalle and its exhibitions and be inspired to create our own works.

Come at short notice at the beginning of the event and see if there are still places available. Quantities are limited. With this offer we work without registration.
Offer for children unaccompanied by adults.

Let’s see, marvel, and create together! This event invites children and adults not only to view art, but also to discover it together. After a brief introduction to the exhibition, the entire group will head to the studio together for a creative activity. Whether you use paints, paper, pencils, or other materials—you work as a family or side by side, experiment, and create your own works of art that are just as diverse and vibrant as you are.
To wrap things up, we invite you to come together one last time over coffee, juice, and a little something sweet: to look back, share stories, listen, and let the experience sink in at your own pace. No prior experience is required, and there is no age restriction.

You can only attend if you have purchased a ticket for the event in advance.
Tickets can be purchased until 3:00 p.m. on the last Thursday before the event in the online shop or at the museum ticket office.

Sing. Connect. Move On: The EinTags!Chor – One Day Choir at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld II
“Will you go with me?”—at the EinTags!Chor, this becomes a warm invitation: Come by, bring your voice, and experience how a shared sound emerges from many different people. As part of the exhibition “Shared Views. Kunsthalle Bielefeld x KiCo Collection – Part II: Will You Walk With Me?”, the Kunsthalle will transform into an open sound space for an afternoon. In the current exhibition, works from two collections interact with one another: they complement, expand upon, question, and contradict each other. This gives rise to new lines of sight and perspectives—between historical and contemporary positions, between painting, space, abstraction, and movement. Just as works of art interact with one another, complement each other, and open up new perspectives, so too do different voices and experiences come together in song.
We bring these thoughts with us into our choral singing: We connect with others, listen to one another, discover old and new songs, and bring together many individual voices to form a single choir. Voice training and singing aren’t about perfection, but about openness, curiosity, and the joy of creating something together. Even though our views sometimes differ, we can listen to one another, come together, and set out on a musical journey.
Anyone who enjoys singing or would simply like to give it a try is welcome to join—whether you have choir experience or not, whether you’re young or young at heart, an amateur or a professional. You don’t need to know how to read music. The only thing that matters is the desire to share your own voice.

Registration isn’t required, but you’re welcome to sign up—that way, you’re guaranteed a spot and we can plan better. Tickets can be reserved by email at:

Whether you use paints, paper, pencils, or other materials—you work as a family or side by side, experiment, and create your own works of art that are just as diverse and vibrant as you are.
To wrap things up, we invite you to come together one last time over coffee, juice, and a little something sweet: to look back, share stories, listen, and let the experience sink in at your own pace. No prior experience is required, and there is no age restriction.

In this workshop, participants begin by creating initial sketches on paper. These are then developed into free, painterly compositions as the workshop progresses. The exhibition “Willst du mit mir gehen?” (Will You Go With Me?), featuring works from the KiCo Collection and the Kunsthalle, serves as a source of inspiration and an experimental space for exploration, where new perspectives and ideas continually emerge for a personal, playful creative process. Materials will be provided. Only those who wish to work on canvases should please bring their own. For adults and teens ages 16 and up. A maximum of 10 people may participate.
