Tours

Public guided tours take place on Sundays at 11:30 am and 4 pm and on Wednesdays at 7 pm. Specially trained staff from the Education and Outreach Department will present the focal points of the exhibitions, their creation and organization. Take a look behind the scenes of the museum!

Experience the current exhibition in a guided tour tailored to your needs and wishes. This is also possible online via video!
We also offer guided tours specifically for older people with special needs.

Cost: € 70, for schools from € 45, for kindergartens from € 40 (kindergarten and school class visits are possible before regular opening hours by arrangement)

For each exhibition, we offer at least one guided tour for this group of people – sighted people are also welcome on this special tour.

In cooperation with the Stadttheater and the Kunsthalle, Bielefeld Marketing GmbH offers the “Experience Bielefeld sensibly ” group package, which is specially tailored to the needs of the visually impaired and blind. Anyone interested is invited to experience Bielefeld in a three-day stay full of meaning and culture. The services are individually tailored to the group.

Short guided tours during the lunch break: On every first and third Tuesday of the month (except during the vacations), a member of our curatorial team offers a 30-minute guided tour of the current exhibition.

This guided tour is included in the admission price and allows a brief but intensive look at a selected group of works or one of the themes of the exhibition in the middle of the day.

Give yourself and selected works of art some more time! In a small group, the focus is on just two or three works, which are viewed and discussed intensively and at length. Impressions, moods and associations are discussed as well as detailed observations and, of course, questions. Together with our art educators, you can immerse yourself in the works and their history.
